Behind the Campaign

Behind the Campaign

From Bolgatanga to Accra

In April this year, the team spent two days photographing baskets on the streets, beaches, homes and markets of Accra. The aim of the photoshoot was not just to celebrate the patterns and colours of every basket, the brainchildren of our weavers, but to also celebrate other creative fields of Ghana and Ghana's capital city.

Shot in the heart of Accra, our campaign bridges the rural roots of our baskets with the creative energy of Ghana’s capital. Accra is a city where tradition meets innovation, its home to vibrant markets, diverse communities, and a growing movement of design-led African brands. As a cultural hub, we felt it would offer the perfect backdrop to showcase the timeless craftsmanship of our weavers in a contemporary, style-forward setting. From Bolgatanga to the coast, this photoshoot celebrates the journey of each handwoven piece and the intergenerational skill behind it.
