Frafra Wholesale: Trade Fair Highlights & What’s Next

This year has already been full of exciting moments for the Frafra team. We’ve had the pleasure of bringing our handwoven collections to some of the UK’s leading trade shows, and there’s more to come.

We kicked things off with Top Drawer Spring, where we showcased new season favourites and connected with like-minded brands and retailers who value craftsmanship and sustainability. It was such a joy to see so much appreciation for the details in each basket, and to meet people who truly understand the value of considered, ethical production.

Not long after, we headed to Spring Fair at the NEC, one of the biggest and busiest shows in the calendar. This one gave us the opportunity to share more of our story—who we are, who we work with, and why we do things the way we do. We spoke with so many brilliant independent shop owners and buyers looking for something with both beauty and substance. 

Next up? We’ll be at the Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival in Harrogate this July, as well as the RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival. It’s always a highlight of the summer season, and we can’t wait to bring our full range of vibrant, sustainable baskets to this show. Expect a curated mix of bestsellers and one-off designs—from classic round shoppers to functional homeware, each one handwoven by our incredible team of artisans in Northern Ghana. If you’re looking to source products that are community-driven and made to last, come and find us there.

And this September, we’ll be joining Glee in Birmingham, the UK’s leading garden and outdoor living trade show. We’ll be bringing a special focus on baskets that are perfect for outdoor use —from U-shoppers and planters to fans and dog beds. With so many of our pieces suited to outdoor and plant-loving spaces, it feels like the perfect fit.

Each of these shows gives us a chance to build new partnerships and grow our community of stockists who's visions and values align with our own. We’re proud to offer products that don’t just fill shelves but are sustainable, support artisan livelihoods, and bring warmth and character into homes and shops across the UK.
